A great afternoon of top jazz and swing music will be performed at Burnham-On-Sea’s Jazz In The Park today (Sunday, June 3rd).

The annual free event returns to the Manor Gardens with music from several well-established bands between 12pm and 5.15pm.

Mike Murphy, Chairman of the organising group CADS (Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society), said: “We have another great line-up of jazz and swing bands not to be missed.”

“The afternoon will include blues from singer guitarist Tim Fardon and the dusky sounds of Emily from Eminem plus three super jazz and swing bands – Lazy River Swing, the Roger Bond quartet and The Andy Barrett band.”

“It promises to be a cracker with something for everyone.”

Real ale, cider, wine and soft drinks, a burger/salad bar with hot drinks, ice creams, and a kids zone will also be available with face painting, hair-braiding, Henna tattoos plus a bouncy castle and a bumper raffle.
