West Huntspill Church will be holding a Hymnathon this Saturday (14th July) when hundreds of hymns will be sung during the day.

The event, at St Peter and All Hallows Church in West Huntspill, will see the organist and choirs singing the first verse of every hymn in the Mark Church Hymn book throughout the day.

To be held from 9.30am onwards, there will also be refreshments, a barbecue, and competitions through the day.

“A day to drop in or linger in the beautiful surroundings of West Huntspill Church, join in with a variety of choirs and the organist in playing and singing the hymn book – hymns old and new,” said a spokeswoman.
