Homes In Sedgemoor ranked among UK’s top organisations to work for

-

The organisation that manages Sedgemoor District Council’s housing stock in Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge has been recognised as one of the UK’s leading not-for-profit organisations to work for.

Homes in Sedgemoor has achieved a top ranking on the Sunday Times’ national league table of not-for-profit organisations.

Competing with approximately 150 organisations in the UK, the organisation has claimed the 10th spot and a two-star rating in its first year of applying, which represents outstanding levels of employee engagement.

The Best Companies league ranking identifies best practice and it rates companies based on employee responses to a series of questions around a company’s ability to provide leadership, wellbeing and personal growth, as well as canvassing employees’ views on their management, colleagues and happiness score.

The result reflects the hard work and dedication of employees at Homes in Sedgemoor, says the organisation.

Jen Barfoot, Chief Executive at Homes in Sedgemoor said: “This is an amazing result! I am hugely proud of the whole team here at Homes in Sedgemoor. We are a great organisation, always looking for ways to deliver even better for our customers and for ourselves!”

Homes in Sedgemoor was formed in 2007 and is an ‘Arm’s Length Management Organisation’ (ALMO), wholly owned by Sedgemoor District Council, managing their 4,200 homes. It is a non-profit organisation.
