Club attended the group's annual presentation night on Saturday
Chairman Duncan Britton handed out awards and certificates to dozens
of members at Highbridge's Globe Inn.
event recognised the club's hard work over the past year, which
culminated when last year's western-themed float, called 'Yee Ha!',
won second place overall in the county juvenile category.

The Chairman's Choice award went jointly to Charmaine Baker and
other winners were: Most promising: Thomas, carnival spirit: Jake,
best girl: Jess, best boy: Luke, best all-rounder: Ryan, best newcomers:
Katie and Louisa, most improved: Max, kids choice: Lottie, and co-ordinators
choice: Jack. The 'Paul Plume trophy' for best fundraiser went to
the evening, the club also handed over a cheque for £400 to
Cancer Research UK, taking its overall total raised for the charity
to £5,166 since 2008.
