Brean Play is to hold a Fun Day to raise awareness and vital funds for Children’s Hospice South West.

The event will be held on Sunday 30th September when families will be able to enjoy the facilities, meet volunteers from the Hospice and hear about their work.

Pete the Rabbit costume character will be meeting and greeting the children during the day, and there will be face painting and a wheel of fortune with a chance to win free return admissions to Brean Play or Splash. Events will run from 10am to 4pm.

In the run up to the event visitors will be invited to buy raffle tickets for a chance to win some fabulous prizes donated by local businesses and attractions.

Organiser Mike Barsby from Brean Leisure Park said: “We wanted to raise funds and more awareness for CHSW because of its work with life-limited children and their families and we hope lots of people will come along, join in the fun and help make the event a great success.”

While normal admission fees apply, Brean Play will be giving a small percentage of the day’s admissions to CHSW. For more information about the day click here.
