30 visitors from Burnham-On-Sea's German twin town have been formally
welcomed to the town by the Mayor and Mayoress this week.

Fritzlar Twinning Society has been in existence for 29 years and
seeks to maintain and develop Burnham and Highbridge's close relationship
with Fritzlar, which is a historic town in the German region of
Heer, leader of the Fritzlar group, told Burnham-On-Sea.com that
the residents look forward to the visits every two years and always
appreciate "the very warm welcome".
German flag is flying in their honour this week on Burnham's main
flag pole next to the fountain in Old Station Approach.
