New food store ‘Freezeland’ to open in Burnham-On-Sea High Street

-

A new frozen food store is set to open in Burnham-On-Sea town centre during June.

Called ‘Freezeland’, the new shop will open in Burnham High Street, next to Bargain Booze, opposite The Railway pub.

Speaking to Burnham-On-Sea.com this week, owner Malav Desai says the new store will open in early June.

Malav, who runs Bargain Booze in Burnham High Street and the Post Office, said: “The new store will sell a mixture of frozen food, from groceries to ice creams and slush drinks.”

“It will fill a gap in the market here in Burnham town centre, selling products that we don’t already offer at Bargian Booze.”

The new store will fill a vacant unit in the High Street that was previously occupied by the Walking Shop that closed down in March 2017.
