Burnham-On-Sea film student seeking local people hit by A&E closures

-

A Burnham-On-Sea film student is seeking to hear from local people affected by overnight A&E closures.

Marley Hamilton, a filmmaking student with UWE, said: “I’m making a documentary about the overnight A&E closures and its impact on the people of Weston.”

“I’d like to speak to people who’ve been impacted by the closure as patients. The film is initially for my course, however, we may seek to enter it into some documentary festivals in the future.”

“Our aim with this project is to heighten awareness of the changing public healthcare sector, and the people put at risk by these changes.”

The deadline for hearing back from people is Friday 19th October via marley2.hamilton@live.uwe.ac.uk
