Brean Down to host Cadbury’s Easter Egg hunts this weekend

-

The ever-popular Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts are back for another year at Brean Down, taking place over days of the Easter weekend.

The National Trust has teamed up with Cadbury to provide a chocolate treat to children who complete the end of the trail on Brean Down.

They will take place between 11am-2pm on Friday 30th March, Saturday 31st March, Sunday 1st April, and Monday 2nd April.

“This is an event for the whole family, with dogs on leads welcome,” says a spokesperson. “The ranger team will signpost the event and meet you in the National Trust car-park at Brean Down, you can’t miss them – they’re in bright red clothing.”

“Brean Down is open to the elements with a varied terrain from soft sand to rocky paths, so please note that appropriate footwear is needed and dress for the weather.”

“When dry, the beach can be easily accessed by wheelchairs and pushchairs with all-terrain tyres. Access to the Down itself is gained via a flight of steep steps, or a gated road.”

Tickets are priced at £2.50 and normal car park charges will also apply.
