Over 2,000 people visited Brean’s Beachside Holiday Park on Sunday (June 10th) for their fourth annual classic car show.

Bright sunshine attracted bumper crowds to the holiday park in Coast Road where the event was held by Bridgwater Classic & Vintage Club next to the Sundowner cafe.

Organiser Rob Coombes told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We had a great turnout of more than 150 vehicles on show, with the furthest travelling from Birmingham.”

“We’re delighted with how it went – we raised roughly £1,000 for the Somerset & Dorset Air Ambulance and there were further funds raised on the charity’s stall.”

“The highlight of the day was a very low flypast by a Supermarine Spitfire from the from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. On August 12th and 13th visitors will be able to see the plane again at our next show at the Morganinians Rugby Club Bridgwater.”

Dyuring the day, there was also live music from Daft Folk and other groups, playing on the sundeck with children’s entertainment.
