BBC Radio 4 is set to broadcast its national politics show ‘Any Questions’ from Highbridge this month – and residents can get tickets to be in the audience.

The show, presented by Jonathan Dimbleby, will be aired from Highbridge Community Hall in Market Street on Friday 22nd June.

The radio programme provides topical discussion in which a panel of personalities from the worlds of politics, media and elsewhere are given questions from the audience.

Tickets will be available free of charge by visiting Highbridge Library on Thursday 7th June from 10.30am-12noon and again on Tuesday 12th from 2.30pm – 3.30pm.

Highbridge councillor Janet Keen, who invited the BBC to host the programme in the town, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I am delighted that we have the show coming to Highbridge – it will help to put us on the map and also highlights what a superb facility the Community Hall is.”

She explained that the identities of the panel of personalities will not be known until nearer the date.
