May’s bank holidays mean two weeks of changes to collections for every home in the Burnham-On-Sea area.

Somerset Waste Partnership says there will be no collections on 7th May for the Early May Bank Holiday Monday, and 28th May for the Spring Bank Holiday Monday, which will mean one-day-later collections for both weeks, including Friday collections on Saturdays.

Recycling sites will remain open on their usual scheduled days throughout both weeks, including all 16 across Somerset opening at 8am on Saturdays, Sundays and both Bank Holiday Mondays.

Somerset Waste Partnership is the local authority team managing waste and recycling services for Mendip, Sedgemoor, South Somerset and West Somerset District Councils, Taunton Deane Borough Council and Somerset County Council.
