Burnham and Highbridge Youth Day and Parade is set to be held today (Saturday, June 10th) with a range of activities for young people.

The day will run from 11am-5pm, with the parade this year walking along the town’s beach from Maddock’s Slade to the jetty at 2pm.

There will also be various entertainment on the seafront through the day with the Carnival Queen singing at 11am, and local Burnham and Highbridge dance groups demonstrating their skills.

There will be stalls and attractions set up through the day and music from Burnham group Rustique.

Profits raised will go towards Somerset Time For Youth, a not for profit voluntary group for children and young people with special needs.
