Zone Youth Club praised by council for turnaround
Zone Youth Club has been praised by town councillors this week after
a 'monitoring visit' took place to see how a grant donation of £3,500
from the council is being used.

the BAY Centre in Cassis Close - was set to close down when its
original funding ran out.
the council gave it 'lifeline funding' of £3,500 to keep running
and the club has since formed a new management committee and has
undertaken its own fundraising to stay operational.
of the Town Council's Policy and Finance Committee this week praised
the club's work with young people.
Andy Brewer said: "We had a very encouraging visit. We spoke
with a number of the children and youth workers and got good responses
from all of them."
