The judges of Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge’s annual Christmas lights competition have issued a call for entries.

The Town Council is encouraging residents and businesses to illuminate their homes and premises across the two towns and enter.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the best displays for best individual residence in Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge. This year’s two judges are Cllr Peter Clayton and Cllr Victoria Weavell.

Only those properties which have been specifically entered into the competition will be judged. To enter, email the Town Council at admin@burnham-highbridge.org or telephone 01278 788088. The deadline is 4pm on Friday 15th December.

There will also be a prize for the best shop and business windows in Burnham or Highbridge, judged by Burnham-On-Sea Chamber of Trade and Highbridge Chamber of Trade. Businesses in the two town centres will be judged.

Cups and shields for all the winners will be presented on January 17th 2018 at the council’s Town Projects Committee Meeting.
