Burnham-On-Sea Woodturning Club is holding a special Open Day today (Saturday, September 23rd) when its work will be on display.

To celebrate the 30th Birthday of the Association of Woodturners of Great Britain (AWGB), the Burnham-On-Sea Woodturning Club is holding a free-to-enter Open Day.

Taking place at Burnham-On-Sea Methodist Church Hall in College Street, it will run from 10am until 4pm.

“Members of the public are invited to drop in and see what’s involved in using a lathe to turn wood into beautiful objects, talk to members of the club, and view examples of their work,” said a spokesman.

“Two turners will be there demonstrating and there will be a display of members’ work.”
