Wild Wednesdays start today over summer holidays at Secret World

-

Families have the chance to get up close to insects and reptiles during a series of new ‘Wild and Deadly Wednesdays’ at Secret World Wildlife Rescue near Burnham-On-Sea this summer.

Nick Wadham, creator and presenter of The Wild and Deadly Show, joins Secret World with his live nature stage show on 26th July and every Wednesday throughout the summer holidays – August 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd.

In between performances, there will be the opportunity to handle many of the creatures involved – for those that are brave enough to!

There will also be harvest mice and birds of prey on display, children’s activities, crafts, food and refreshments as well as fascinating talks for all the family. There will be something for everyone, even the squeamish, to enjoy.

Open from 10.00 am to 4.00pm, with free car parking right next to the site, the events are open to all. Entry is £4 per adult and £2 per child, payable on the door.

Nick is a life-long natural historian who gave his first public demonstrations of exotic animals at the age of just 13.

He is a published children’s author, and his book ‘The Magical Adventures of Henry Owl’ will be available to purchase on the day.
