A Burnham-On-Sea town centre hotel has temporarily closed its doors after its long-time owners retired.
Martin and Dee Lloyd had run the hotel in Victoria Street for 18 years but left in December.
A simple message from the couple posted on the door states: “After 18 years Martin and Dee have closed the doors and have left the Victoria Hotel.”
“We would like to thank you all for your business and support over the years and wish you all a good 2017.”
It continues: “The Victoria will re-open in approximately four weeks under new management and with a sparkling fresh new look.”
