A major refurbishment at Brean Leisure Parks’ Tavern entertainment venue has been completed this month.

The Tavern re-opened its doors on Friday afternoon (January 27th) following a big upgrade in recent weeks.

It’s opened in time for this weekend’s Brean Rally where over 400 enthusiasts will enjoy breakfast and dinner in the venue during the event.

The refurbishment includes a significant investment in a new sound system, digital big screen and stage facilities.

Director Alan House said: “The refurbishment of The Tavern complex is one of our latest investments into our facilities. Quality and appearance is such an important factor in today’s competitive marketplace and we’re pleased that The Tavern at Brean Leisure Park remains such a popular venue in its’ 38th year of trading.”

The Tavern has been open since 1980 and has seen many stars perform on its stage – famous faces have included The Drifters, Gerry and The Pacemakers, and The Searchers.

This year, the venue will welcome a diverse range of bands, acts and performers and is open to everyone and tickets for events are available from Brean Leisure Park reception. It also can host corporate events and functions with guest accommodation and ample parking nearby.
