Burnham-On-Sea’s adult learning centre is offering a unique course all about creating stained glass items.
Taught by a qualified and practising Stained Glass professional, the sessions guide learners through the stages of planning and creating beautiful designs.
The course at the learning centre in Burnham’s Princess Street lets learners explore and make their own stained glass artefacts.
By the end of the course, learners will be able to demonstrate the safe practice of cutting glass, Illustrate design elements for creating a mosaic or stained glass project, Discuss the different methods of creating a stained glass project, and Create at least one finished product.
This course is suitable for learners of all abilities and no previous experience is necessary. You will be fully supported with your work by a tutor. At the start of the course the tutor will discuss with you any previous knowledge, skills and interests you have in this area and you will have the opportunity to consider your own expectations and outcomes.
