New Highbridge convenience store plans unveiled by developer

-

New plans to build a new convenience store in Highbridge have been unveiled this week by a local property developer.

Westcountry Projects Ltd is seeking full planning permission to build a store on the corner of Morland Road and Burnham Road on land previously occupied by the former Morlands Industrial Park.

The store would have 210 square metres of floor space and the building would also include first floor accommodation for a shop manager.

Plans for a store at the site were initially granted in August 2015, and this new applicaiton refers to a variation of a condition on a previous planning application. The minor changes refer to the site layout and footprint of convenience store.

Sedgemoor District Council is inviting comments on the plans by May 26th. The planning application number is 11/17/00061.
