Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre will be hosting a special performance of ‘Madagascar: A Musical Adventure’ this weekend.

The senior cast of BEES (Burnham Excellent Entertainment Society) will be performing the show on Saturday 20th May at 7pm and Sunday 21st May at 3pm.

“Join Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe, Gloria the hip hip hippo and those hilarious plotting penguins as they bound onto your stage in this wonderful musical adventure,” the group’s Vikki Hart told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“The show is based on the smash DreamWorks animated film and follows all of your favourite crack-a-lackin’ friends as they escape from their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar.”

“Filled with outlandish characters, adventure galore, and an upbeat score, our audience – young and old – will be left with no choice but to ‘Move It, Move It!’.”

It is suitable for young audiences. Ticket prices are £8 (£5 concessions) with 50p off for Princess Friends or BEES (max four discounted). Tickets are available from the Box Office at The Princess on 01278 784464 or online.
