Crowds of people enjoyed a great afternoon of top jazz and swing music at Burnham-On-Sea’s Jazz In The Park on Sunday (June 11th).

The annual free event returned to the Manor Gardens with music from several well-established bands over the course of five hours.

Mike Murphy, Chairman of the organising group CADS (Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society), told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “There was a great turnout and the crowds enjoyed another great line-up of musicians.”

“The day featured Terry Williams, Ambassadors of Jazz – a renowned seven piece jazz band – joined by Bob Reynolds New Society Jazz Band playing the best of New Orleans jazz. Support included Colin and Dave, our very own Little Secrets, and starting the day the blues guitar of Jake Beckett.

Real ale, cider, wine and soft drinks, a burger bar with hot drinks and cakes, ice creams, and a kids zone were available plus a bouncy castle.
