Hundreds of Harley Davidsons heading to Burnham-On-Sea seafront

-

Hundreds of Harley Davidson motorbikes will be heading onto Burnham-On-Sea seafront today (Sunday, April 30th) during a fundraising rally.

A parade of bikes will be headed by the flags of all participants and will arrive in Burnham-On-Sea around 11.30-11.45pm, riding through the High Street on its way to the South Esplanade to park up until after 3pm.

Mick Collins, one of the organisers from the Bridgwater Harley Owners Group, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Every year we hold our chapter rally – ‘The Cider Rally’ – which is always well supported with many guests coming from mainland Europe.”

“H.O.G. members come to party, meet old friends and make new ones. We always have a grand parade and this year we are bringing it back to Burnham.”

The event will be raising funds for BARB Search & Rescue. Organised by Bridgwater Hog UK, the group was formed in 1989 and are the second oldest chapter in Europe. Following the formation of the club in 1989, the first meeting was held at the Crossways Inn in West Huntspill near Bridgwater in February 1990.
