High street bakery chain Greggs has refurbished its Burnham-On-Sea branch and is set to re-open as one of the firm’s ‘new look’ outlets.

The company has said that the revamped shop in the High Street is “designed to meet the demands of busy food-on-the-go shoppers and offer customers a contemporary food-on-the-go experience.”

It sells hot drinks and hot foods to take away, plus a new, wider selection of chilled food. The interior has been redesigned to provide more space for customers, as pictured here.

Raymond Reynolds, retail director for Greggs, said: “We’re delighted to be able to invest in Burnham-On-Sea and provide our valued customers with a modern and comfortable upgrade to the shop. This underlines our long-term commitment to the area and I’m sure it will be enjoyed by existing and new customers alike.”

Greggs is the largest bakery chain in the United Kingdom, with more than 1,600 shops.
