Burnham-On-Sea firefighters tackled a chimney blaze on Tuesday evening (February 14th).
A fire engine from Burnham-On-Sea was sent to reports of a chimney on fire within a property at Edingworth Road, Edingworth at 6pm.
“On arrival the crew immediately requested the attendance of a second fire engine for more water and crew power, which was also sent from Burnham,” said a spokesman.
“The crews worked together using chimney gear and a hose reel jet from the hearth of the chimney to extinguish the fire.”
“A thermal imaging camera was also used to check for hotspots and fire spread.”
