Members of a local running club have taken part in a special festive run around Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge’s most sparkling Christmas lights disiplays.
Highbridge Ladies Running Club completed the three-mile run this week, taking in Burnham’s Trinity Close Christmas lights, as pictured here.
“This is our first Christmas as a club, having started in April, and we wanted to do something special for the festive season so put together a route that goes past some of the many great lights displays,” the club’s Emma Wood told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
The club, which has 34 members, was named ‘running club of the year’ for the south west in September and is always open to newcomers via its Facebook page.
