A dog show is set to be held in East Huntspill this Sunday (June 18th) when dog owners and their pets will be competing for top honours.

The West of England Dachshund Association is organising the event, which is open to all dog owners and their dogs.

The Companion Dog Show will be held in aid of The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and will be held at East Huntspill Village Hall.

It’s an all day event, with entries taken from 10.30am and the show itself starting at 11.30am.

Entry fee for each class is just £1 with lots of fun events in a range of clases, as shown below:

PEDIGREE CLASSES will be: 1. Puppy (6-12 months), 2. Any Variety Sporting, 3. Any Variety Non-Sporting, 4. Any Variety Open Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show, Best Puppy in Show. NOVELTY CLASSES: 5. Veteran 7 years and over, 6. Sausage and Spoon, 7. Dog with most Appealing Eyes, 8. Dog most like its Owner, 9. Most Handsome Dog, 10. Prettiest Bitch, 11. Best Biscuit Catcher, 12. Best Junior Handling, 13. Best Sporting Dog, 14. Best Non-Sporting Dog, 15. Best Rescue Dog BEST IN SHOW FROM CLASSES 5-15
