probe launched after 'suspicious death' in Burnham-On-Sea
have launched a murder investigation in Burnham-On-Sea following
the 'suspicious death' of a 40-year-old man late on Monday night
Officers were called to Churchill Close, just off Worston Lane,
shortly before midnight on Monday after reports of a man being assaulted.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
43-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were arrested in connection
with the incident and they remain in police custody.
DCI James Riccio told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "This investigation
is at a very early stage and we are doing everything possible to
determine how the man died."
