have arrested three people after a burglary at a Burnham-On-Sea
newsagent early on Wednesday (April 19th) - the latest in a spate
of commercial break-ins in the town.
smashed their way into GW Hurleys newsagents in the High Street
during the early hours, stealing a large quantity of stock.
were quickly on scene and the force's helicopter also flew in to
scour the area from the air, with three people being arrested a
short time later.
spokesman Wayne Baker told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We were called
to reports of a burglary at a newsagents in The High Street this
morning at about 2.40am. Entry was forced and a quantity of cigarettes
taken. Three suspects aged 14,16 and 19 were later
arrested and remain in police custody."
