Organisers of Burnham-On-Sea’s new ‘Bosfest’ music festival have announced the winner of a competition to design a logo for the event as they prepare for a day-long Easter fundraising concert.

After much deliberation in reviewing some great entries, the organisers picked a design by Marc Atkins, right, which they described as a ‘fabulous design’. The logo will now be on all the event’s media and merchandising.

An Easter Fundraiser will be held at Burnham-On-Sea’s Ritz Social Club on Sunday 16th April from 1pm-11pm.

Entry will cost just £5 for which visitors will receive a wristband, giving them access to come and go through the day.

There will also be a raffle, Chilli meals, a choice of baguettes and more with all proceeds going towards Bosfest.

Headlining will be the Amazing Chiller alongside Bouncing Biscuit, Talk Show Hosts, Mervin, Emily and Nick Elswood, Tim Dean, Jake Beckett, Duress and Last One Home, so it’s sure to be a great day.

Bosfest is a free, local festival which will be held on Saturday 9th September. As well as having some great music from the likes of Gaz Brookfield, Little Thief, Some Villains, Lady Garden and more, there will also be comedians, story telling from local childrens authors, dance, displays and craft activities for kids and more.
