Barbecue to be held in Burnham-On-Sea for two local good causes

A group of youngsters are to hold a fundraising barbecue in Burnham-On-Sea for two good causes on Thursday (July 20th).

The group from Somerset Rural Youth Project , pictured, are organising the event in aid of the mental health charities In Charley’s Memory and Young Minds as part of their National Citizen Service work.

The barbecue will be held from 12 noobn to 6pm at Burnham Rugby Club’s BASC Ground. There will also be apple bobbing, face painting, a raffle and competitions.

The raffle prizes include a Buff Urban Day Spa Ticket, 2 x Scotts Cinema tickets, Morrisons outdoor garden games, Wine, Chocolates, Longleat voucher, scented candles, a free haircut and 2 x £25 Amazon vouchers.

The group has been running other fundraising events too, which include a hand carwash at Halfords, Bridgwater priced at £4 today (19th July).
