An air ambulance landed in a Burnham-On-Sea park this week to help a patient following an accident.

The Great Western Air Ambulance landed on Burnham’s Rosewood Green, much to the surprise of residents on Thursday.

The green helicopter touched down on the grassed area just after 3.30pm, as pictured here.

Its onboard paramedic rushed to a nearby address to assist ambulance crews with a man who, according to a spokeswoman, had suffered a ‘fall from a height’.
