Burnham-On-Sea firefighters were called out to tackle a blazing tractor on Tuesday evening (May 3rd).

Crews from Burnham-On-Sea and Cheddar were called to Weare Road in Washbrook near Axbridge at 6.15pm.

“Crews confirmed one tractor in the open was well alight and they set to work to extinguish it using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and compressed air foam,” said a spokesman.

“The tractor was completely destroyed by the fire, the cause was accidental.”
