A brave Highbridge resident ignored his fear of height to complete a 15,000ft skydive for charity at the weekend on his third attempt.

Tim Daniel from Highbridge jumped out of a plane on Saturday (October 22nd) to raise awareness and funds for Fibromyalgia Heart of Somerset Support Group.

The sky dive had been postponed twice before this year due to bad weather, but this time the conditions were perfect.

Tim said: “It was all over so fast, but I enjoyed the experience.”

Tim’s mother, Sally, has Fibromyalgia and helps run the local support group based in Burnham-On-Sea.

Fibromyalgia Heart of Somerset Support Group meets every Monday at the Somerset Skills and Learning Centre in Princess Street, Burnham.

The jump helped raise funds for Fibromyalgia Heart of Somerset and Fibromyalgia Action UK.

“Tim’s apprehension of heights has been conquered!” aid Sally. “A great day was had, friends and members of the group were there to share the experience with supportive exuberance and a big thank you goes all who sponsored Tim.”
