Students in Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge have raised hundreds of pounds for charity by taking part in a fundraising run.

The pupils at King Alfred School in Highbridge raised a total of £906.46 for Sport Relief, it has been confirmed.

The money was raised by year 7-9 students who completed a 1-mile run for Sport Relief.

Several of the Year 8 students who raised considerable amounts of money and ran some of the fastest times are pictured here.
