-

A model railway show is set to make a return to Highbridge this weekend when scores of train-themed attractions will go on display.

Sedgemoor Rail 2016, an annual pre-Christmas Show, is overseen by Burnham & District Model Railway Club, and will be held at King Alfred School in Burnham Road, Highbridge.

The show will be held on Saturday 12th November from 11am until 4pm, and Sunday 13th November from 10am-3pm.

“There will be a range of layouts on display in various gauges supported by trade stands, displays and demonstrations,” says a spokesman.

“There is ample free car parking on site with convenient disabled parking and the building is wheelchair-friendly.”

Admission for adults and seniors will be £4, while accompanied children up to 13 are free. The show is sponsored by Ray Heard Model Railways.
