Students from Highbridge’s King Alfred School celebrated the end of their school year with a lavish prom on Friday night (July 1st).

Around 200 pupils from years 11 and staff gathered at the Webbington Hotel for their special night, pictured here.

The students arrived in style in limousines, a tractor, classic cars, a Land Rover and even on horseback during the evening!

“They had a sit-down three-course meal, a disco and live music from the band Thundershark,” a school spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“It was a fantastic evening and a fitting way to end the school year.”

The evening was also held to celebrate the end of the pupils’ exams after a busy year of revision and lessons.
