Police issue appeal to find missing Highbridge man Simon Brown

-

Police are appealing for the public’s help to find Simon Brown who is missing in the Highbridge area.

Simon, aged 58, has been missing since 10am on Wednesday morning (30th August) when he was last seen in the Walrow Terrace area.

He is a white man, of slim build with short brown, greying hair which is receding.

He has chin stubble and is believed to be wearing a brown coloured jacket which has lots of pockets. He is also carrying a dark blue shoulder bag.

He may appear to be in some discomfort as he has on-going pain from his back, shoulder and hips.

Although he normally wears spectacles he does not have them with him and struggles to read without them.

Searches are continuing in the Highbridge area, where Simon is believed to be. We would like Simon, or anyone recognising him, to contact us on 101, quoting reference 5216193199.

Fire, police and ambulance crews descended on Highbridge last night (Tuesday) during a major search operation to try and find him.

A police helicopter was brought in to search several locations from the air and a fire service rescue boat was also brought to scour several lakes and ponds.

Our photos show the emergency services parked in the Isleport industrial estate area last night.
