Burnham-On-Sea’s first free outdoor music event of the year is set to be held today (Sunday, May 8th).

Party In The Park will take place in the Manor Gardens from 12pm until 5.15pm featuring several popular local groups.

The acts include Daft Folk, pictured above, Phil King, as he launches his new album, plus Bouncing Biscuit, Ben and Toby with their Jersey Boys act, Sam Patten, and Nick and Emily.

There will also be a bar, refreshments, ice cream and a kidzone with bouncy castle.

Organiser Mike Murphy from CADS, the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The weather’s improved and by Sunday should be great. We look forward to seeing lots of spectators for the start of the season.”

The next CADS events will be Jazz in the Park on Sunday June 5th, Picnic in the Park on July 3rd, and Highbridge Music Fest at the Recreation Park in Highbridge on Sunday August 7th.
