A Burnham-On-Sea fundraiser who has raised thousands of pounds for good causes is set to have his beard shaved off for charity this week.

Mike Perrin is having a sponsored shave and hair cut for St Margaret’s Hospice while his grand-daughter, Kylie Perrin, 8, will also be taking part too.

She will be having her long hair cut, with the locks being sent to the Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children affected by cancer.

The sponsored event will be held at Francesco Hair salon in Hghbridge on Thursday where Mike’s other grandaughter, Amy Niblett, works and who will be doing the cutting.

Mike has set up a Just Giving page where people can give their support at www.justgiving.com/mikeperrin/

He and his wife Denice have been busy fundraising through the year for St Margaret’s Hospice, raising a huge £9,000 in 2015.

Mike told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We’ve had a very successful year fundraising and our grateful thanks go to everyone who have given their support.”
