Dog owners in the Burnham-On-Sea area are being offered a free micro-chipping service for their pets ahead of a new law being introduced.
From April 2016 it will be a legal requirement for all dogs to be micro-chipped and registered to their owners in England.
RSPCA North Somerset Branch are offering to micro-chip 300 dogs for free in the branch area.
Micro-chipping sessions will be held at the RSPCA Animal Centre in Brent Knoll and at its Weston super Mare office every Thursday and Saturday until April 16th, by appointment only.
