Berrow artist’s fun artwork set to go on show in Burnham-On-Sea

-

A Berrow artist’s unique take on the world of art is set to go on display this month when he holds an exhibition in Burnham-On-Sea.

Malcolm Dormer’s colourful animal artwork will go on show at The Princess Theatre’s Art Cafe in Princess Street, Burnham-On-Sea from Tuesday 18th October until Saturday 29th October, from 10.00am-3.00pm each day, except Sundays and Mondays.

Visitors will get a chance to see Malcolm’s unique take on the world, with his paintings of everyday situations with caricatures of animal faces.

Malcolm plans each painting meticulously for many hours, before starting to paint and painting takes between 6-8 weeks to complete.

He is also responsible for painting the murals on the Berrow bus shelters, as we reported here in 2011, and two of his huge masterpieces are hung in Berrow village hall, being a compendium of Berrow scenes.
