Residents in Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge are being invited to have their say about new housing in the two towns.

A new round of consultation has begun this week by the Burnham and Highbridge Neighbourhood Planning group.

Households will receive a copy of the consultation document through letterboxes or they can fill in the surveys online by clicking here.

It invites opinions on the housing vision, types of housing, environmental issues, leisure and health facilities.

Phil Harvey, the Chairman of the group, said: “It is much better for people to do these surveys online if possible. There is more room to comment and the analysis is automatic.”

“By consulting on each section separately we hope to engage as many people as possible. For example, our Burnham Town Centre consultation received over 500 responses.”

“The housing survey is our longest so far as it is the most complex. Necessarily, the consultation document is only an abstract of the full paper the Neighbourhood Planning group has been drawing up.”
