New plans unveiled to expand Highbridge Enterprise Centre

-

Brand new plans to expand Highbridge Enterprise Centre have been unveiled by Somerset County Council.

The authority is seeking Full Planning Permission to expand the centre in Bennett Way, next to the town’s Isleport Recycling Centre.

The proposed development – an industrial building – forms phase two of the development of the centre.

The first phase saw the erection of a two-storey office building and a single-storey industrial building containing three units, which was completed in March 2015.

“Due to the success of phase one, we are seeking to deliver a lightweight industrial unit to provide an additional 220m2 of enterprise space,” a spokesperson told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

Sedgemoor District Council’s planning department is inviting comments on the scheme, which is planning application number 11/16/00085, by October 28th.
