Burnham-On-Sea fire station to hold open day this Sunday

-

Burnham-On-Sea fire station will be open to the public for a day of demonstrations and activities this Sunday (July 10th).

The event, being held from 10am – 4pm, will allow visitors to see the station’s own vehicles which include two fire engines, a bulk foam unit, a welfare unit and a Land Rover.

Other vehicles on show will include a rescue tender, education unit, road safety motor bike and a display airport crash truck.

The day will also included a road traffic collision exercise at around 12pm with a chance to look around the fire station.

The day will be subject to weather and operational commitments, which may mean some of the vehicles will not be on show at short notice.

There will also be a refreshments stand supplied by Lizzie in the Apex Park and an ice cream van.

The fire station in Burnham has also this week thanked Somerlap of Mark for recently helping with its training by providing facilities.
