A Christmas fayre is set to be held in Burnham-On-Sea’s Baptist Church today (Saturday, December 10th) with proceeds helping a local charity.

The event, running from 11am-3pm, will include a craft fayre, tombola, raffle, refreshments.

There will also be a special visit by Else and Anna from Frozen and Santa plus many stalls selling a variety of locally-made gift items.

All proceeds will go to Somerset Time for Youth, a non profit group for children with special needs and their families.

“Children will be able to meet Father Christmas between 12.30pm and 2.30pm and have their photographs taken with Elsa and Anna,” said a spokeswoman.

“Try your luck on the tombola or have a go at winning one of the many raffle prizes we have on offer. Alternatively, come and relax with a hot drink and cake or try our soup and rolls.”

“Hands of Change in Burnham and Highbridge, a local organisation who specialise in helping the local community, will be holding there homeless exhibition in the church area, so why not come and have a look around.”
