Highbridge and Burnham Carnival thanks supporters in its 70th year

-

Over 40 people attended a special meeting organised by Highbridge and Burnham-On-Sea Carnival Committee to thank local supporters for their backing over the past seven decades.

The town carnival celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, and the organisers held the gathering at Burnham Football Club on Friday evening (September 23rd) to mark the occasion and thank supporters, as pictured here.

Carnival Chairman Phil New told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was a great evening when we thanked our supporters and talked through the plans for this November’s event.”

“We thanked all those who have helped us so much over the years.”

He confirmed that almost 100 entries have been signed up for the 70th annual Highbridge and Burnham-On-Sea Carnival, which will be held on Monday November 7th at 7.30pm.
