Over 30 motorcycling enthusiasts from across the Burnham-On-Sea area took part in a fundraising bike ride on Sunday (September 25th).

Somerset Motorcycle Group members gathered at Highbridge’s Asda car park at the start of the run which was held in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.

Norman Templeman from the Somerset Motorcycle Group said: “Thanks to everyone who turned up to remember Moira, a greatly missed member of the group, and also raising money for Prostate Cancer.”

“Unfortunately there was another big ride-out on today, but we still managed to raise £183.00. Our thanks go to Asda for allowing us to start from their car park and the snack wagon at the entrance to Asda for their support and donation.”

The group’s next ride-out, taking place on Sunday October 2nd, will be in aid of Burnham’s BARB Search & Rescue.
