Burnham-On-Sea church to hold fun-filled summer holiday club
Places are filling up fast at this year’s children’s holiday club at the Baptist Church in Burnham-On-Sea.
The club, called Rumble in the Jungle, is taking place next week, from Monday 22nd to Friday 26th August, from 10.00am to 12.15pm at the church in College Street.
The main hall of the building is being transformed into a jungle setting, and activities are planned around a jungle theme.
They will a mix of songs, games, craft, puppets, plus lots of messy fun and at the same time, learning about who Jesus is.
Organiser Linda Ayers said this is the eleventh children’s holiday club that the church has run and it is proving to be a regular highlight of the year.
She told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We aim to give the children a week they will never forget. They have so much fun (and so do we) and we can’t wait for the week to start.”
Over 70 children are registered so far, with some age groups already at capacity.
Anyone wishing to book their children in for the week are advised to do so in advance by visiting the Baptist Church website or their facebook page.
